Re-Write Writing
I started work on the re-write of Soul Mates Volume IV this week. The first nine or so chapters sounded rushed and too choppy. I had the same trouble when working on Volume III so I wasn't surprised. I'm always very excited by the Soul Mates books and I tend to write all the exciting stuff down really fast. It's only when I come to the re-write that I see I need to calm it down a little.

I'm up to chapter sixteen now and so far things are looking good. Like I said, I need to calm the first nine chapters, a little brush up on the next few, and split another couple into two separate chapters. But apart from that it's all flowing nicely. Usually I'd do this work as I went along but I have this feeling I should go through the book first, note down what needs doing, then go back and get the work done.
