First, Second, Third
The second draft of "Soul Mates Volume IV" is complete.

I don't usually go on for a third draft; I'm usually very happy with the second. This time it was different. Possibly because I haven't actually sat down and written a "Soul Mates" novel from scratch in a few years, or mabye because I had so many fun ideas for the story that I just rushed to get it all down in one go. Whatever the reason, I now have all the notes and additions and ideas for what needs to happen to the chapters/story written down on two pieces of scrap paper (I always make notes on scrap pieces of paper for some reason).

I think I'll start work on the third, and hopefully final, draft of the book tomorrow.

I might work on "Olimpia Valley" though. I started Chapter Two Thursday afternoon last week. I only wrote a couple of pages but it felt good to get the chapter started after I stalled all week with it. I suspect I won't be able to commit myself fully to the project until I get "Soul Mates" sorted. After all, "Soul Mates" is my baby and although we're not meant to have favourites amongst our children, I do favour "Soul Mates" over all my other books.
