Chapter Four
Another 5,000 words today and Chapter Four was completed. I really wasn't expecting to get it finished today, probably because of how badly I'd wanted to get it finished today because I want to watch the Olympics tomorrow :)

This chapter really did get legs of its own and took itself to places I wasn't expecting it to. But it's helped everything along much better than I could have hoped. I think the characters all feel a lot stronger, the world is richer, and everyone is settling into their lives much better. I also really like the style of this chapter; the way it ended exactly as it started, only different at the same time. If that makes any sense.

I'm not sure if I'm going to take a break from the writing now to enjoy the Olympics and the last few weeks of summer. I'm not sure I can keep away from the book that long, to be honest, but I'm giving myself the option.
