Distractions
Yet more distractions: a new kitten :) Yet I've managed to drag myself away from him to write this week. I'm about halfway through Chapter Ten now and it's proving to be much more explosive than I first thought. I've also taken a different way of telling this particular arc of the story, and that is by not following the main girl in the middle of it but to show how everyone else is reacting around her. I like how it's coming across so far. I think at the very end of the chapter she'll have her say but for now I'm telling her story through the other characters.
Page-wise I think I've written about eleven or twelve pages so far this week. Word-wise, about 10,000. So I'm very happy with the progress this week and am suddenly feeling a bit more confident about reaching my Christmas deadline.
